Vision Statement: Ordination and Minister Licensing – Affirming the Called and Equipping for Service
We are committed to recognizing and affirming those whom God has called into ministry by providing a structured process of training, evaluation, and commissioning. Our goal is to ensure that every individual who steps into the sacred work of ministry is properly equipped, spiritually mature, and prepared to serve God’s people with wisdom, integrity, and accountability.
Rooted in 1 Timothy 4:14, where Paul encourages Timothy to "Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through prophecy when the body of elders laid their hands on you," we affirm the call of God through a careful and prayerful process that is guided by biblical principles and the Holy Spirit’s leading.
Our process includes:
-
Comprehensive Training
We offer a structured curriculum that combines theological education, ministry skills, and practical leadership development. This includes studying the Word of God, developing an understanding of Church history, pastoral care, and the ethical responsibilities of a minister. The goal is to ensure each candidate is theologically sound and spiritually mature. -
Personal Evaluation
Each candidate undergoes a thorough evaluation to assess their calling, character, and readiness for ministry. This includes interviews with leadership, spiritual assessments, and practical ministry experiences. We look for individuals who demonstrate a deep commitment to Christ, a passion for serving others, and a life of integrity. -
Accountable Mentorship
Every candidate is paired with an experienced mentor—someone who is already in ministry and can provide wisdom, guidance, and pastoral care throughout the ordination process. This relationship ensures that the candidate is supported, trained, and held accountable as they move through the process. -
Commissioning and Ordination
After successfully completing training and evaluation, candidates are formally commissioned and ordained through the laying on of hands and prayer. This public ceremony serves as both a recognition of their calling and an affirmation of their readiness to serve in a leadership capacity within the Church. It is a powerful moment where the Body of Christ officially acknowledges and supports the individual’s call to ministry. -
Ongoing Support and Development
Ordination is not a one-time event; it marks the beginning of a lifelong journey of ministry. After ordination, ministers continue to receive ongoing support, resources, and opportunities for further training to ensure their ministries remain effective and biblically grounded. This includes access to conferences, educational resources, and regular check-ins with leadership.
We believe that ordination and minister licensing are sacred acts of recognition and empowerment. Through this process, we not only affirm God’s call on their lives but also ensure that they are well-equipped to serve with humility, wisdom, and spiritual authority.
